I’m planning on becoming a teacher. I want to go to Cal State University San Marcos and I have no support from my family (financially speaking.) I was wondering if anyone knew if the state of California would pay for my education based off of my desire to become a teacher. I know that the state of Wisconsin does, and I know that the state of Massachusetts (where I currently live) does not because Massachusetts is completely broke and cannot fund that anymore.
Im thinking about moving to Sacramento from Bay Area. I need help in making the dicition where to live in Sacramento. I would like to work as a waitress in a restaurant part time. Which area in Sac will be the best for that Roseville or Downtown Sac? Which Community College will be better for general education and prereqts Siera College, American River or City College?
So.. I want to be an English or Social Studies teacher. Do most secondary teachers (grade 6+) have a degree in whatever subject they teach or secondary education? Thanks for ur help!
What system is better and everyone complains about Americas education system. Also, America pays the most per child on education in every country other then Switzerland. So there must be a better solution then just throwing money at it.
I just need to find a place that has a list of a bunch of different occupations (the more the merrier) and have it show education requirements to fulfill that job beside it.
Typically, when the economy slumps and people start losing jobs, the education system increases its population. With the current state of the economy, people are extremely concerned about their finances. Will people choose to seek jobs prior to attending an educational institution and attain a graduate degree? Or, will they forgo the expense due to the economy and branch out to find another job instead?
